Unfettered Thoughts

Won’t always be the most interesting of reads, but may be some good nuggets scattered throughout. This is more of mental practice for myself to see how I change over the years. When I take the time to journal regularly, I usually find a sharper mind and memory as the reward.

2/1/2021 Monday

-Amber left for Cali yesterday. I still haven’t finished processing the quick change, but I am excited for her to have a more enjoyable work life balance, with plenty of healthy outdoor time that just isn’t possible here in the winter. Plus with everything closed, off work time was getting stale. Bonus perks for me when I get to visit and we have fun adventures to share. Also tends to have a huge boost in my productivity between visits. On top of all that, this creates a huge jump on early partial retirement. Neither of us will ever be able to sit still, but we would also be happier with about half or a third the working time. Money is a tool, time has all the value, especially once we have kids.

-Busy July coming up. Wisconsin, Amber goes to Disney, and Alaska with Val and Zeb, I better be done with Summertree.
