-Being the center of attention is my least favorite thing, and that would make being President highly out of character. However, having access to learn fundamental truths about the entire world around me would be amazing, and worth the stress of public speaking and immense responsibility. I would have access to learn anything imaginable across every field of study, and be taught by people who have the most knowledge of those fields. It would be like going to a one on one express masters degree program. In 4 years alone it would be impossible not to have a number of paradigm changing perspective shifts. If I really want to “Be the change we all agree needs to happen.”, what better way than to get completely informed of any given topic, and then have the power to actually foster a reasoned solution. Even just making a concerted effort to educate as many people as possible would make a reasonable impact. How do you reconcile the confidence barrier to even run for the highest profile office in America, with the responsibility that position has to moving us all forward into the future. It seems that campaigning is more and more the focus instead of actually doing anything productive for progress. Maybe this is the fault of the various information bubbles that we all consume. Facebook, cable news, YouTube, podcasts, etc. are all responsible for what we all see as our subjective truths. With the volume of content available it is easy to see how bias bubbles of information get formed. Currently there is no way for a human to get through the totality of easily accessible “knowledge” on the internet. Rabbit holes and conspiracy theories are so deep that it can consume someone for their entire life.
