The Good Neighbor Association

-Purchase worn out homes in neighborhoods that I can bike through.

-While contract labor completes the work, spend time biking through the neighborhood to locate other occupied houses that are falling behind on maintenance.

-Make contact with residence, neighbors, etc and try and offer 30 min - 3 hrs of free labor to help with anything they need. Use this time to get to know the situation of the residence and see if there are any regular services that might help keep them on track with a good maintenance standard.

-Explore new payment structure that lets people pay what it’s worth to them/ what they can afford to pay. Find a way around the inability to pay for a minimum standard of maintenance.

-Require minimum wage and materials at the very least, but provide information that shows local living wages and low and high avg prices for similar work.Ultimately it is up to the resident to choose what to pay.
