The Lord of the Rings - Story Map

.I read The Lord of the Rings/the Fellowship of the Ring.

.The author of the book I read is J.R.R. Tolkien.

.This story takes place on a treacherous journey in a make believe world to destroy an evil ring. The trail is full of dangerous and exciting surprises.

.One main character of this story is Frodo. Frodo is a kind-hearted hobbit. As you probably know Hobbits are small creatures with big feat. He is important in the book because he is the ring bearer. He is also important because he is the only one who can not lose his sanity while holding the ring. The other main character is Gandolf. Gandolf is an old gray bearded wizard. He is very wise also. He is important in this book because he is the one who told Frodo about how the ring was evil. He also saves the travelling bunch many times.

.The main problem in this story is that a young hobbit has received a ring. The ring is evil. So Frodo must now travel many miles and destroy the ring.

.It all starts out when Frodo receives a ring. Gandolf then notifies him about the ring’s powers. Next he finds a group of warriors to travel with. Then he sets out on his long journey.

.The high point of this story is when they finally make it into some caves. Soon after the are all safely inside the meet some unwanted guests and soon are running for their lives.

.The problem isn’t solved yet because the book is only part one of a trilogy. So there is no way to know until after reading the next book.

.The story ends with Gandolf being dead. The rest of the group is continuing on their journey and then it says “To Be Continued…”

.The main point of this story is that a group of people have to destroy an evil ring before it destroys them.

.This story doesn’t relate to me unless you consider it being similar to me trying to destroy my brother’s life. Other then that I don’t really want to go on a journey to destroy anything.
