While it was fun to people watch at the rooftop pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel, I would argue exploring other parts of the Gaslamp Quarter and Harbor area was just as much fun.
Swap out the DJ and crowd of people for my headphones, and wander towards whatever looked interesting. It was a neat opportunity to look around without masses of people attending an event in these spaces. San Diego Convention Center, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, and all the other parks and shops along the Harbor. I should have walked around Petco too.
